This summer, thanks to Ramsburg Insurance and Financial Services, we are overjoyed to have interns helping us fulfill our mission of ministry to the migrant farm workers and their families! Read below to find out more about Emily (who is incredible and served as an unpaid intern last year) and the project she’s taking on this summer!
Hello! My name is Emily Drago and I am one of the Hartville Migrant Ministry’s interns for this summer of 2020. I am going to be a junior at Walsh University this fall where I am majoring in Nursing and minoring in Spanish for Healthcare. This year I will be working to develop a children’s program to provide entertainment, crafts, and snacks during COVID-19. With a limit of less than ten people to a group and social distancing, a challenge is posed. I have been working hard to develop ways to keep the kids engaged throughout this summer and will need a little help to do that. Anyone who is interested in donating, please reach out to me! Also, stay tuned for a themed weekly itinerary and other news about the program.
