Who Qualifies for programming and services?

Because much of our funding comes from grants designated specifically for seasonal migrant farmworkers, our programming and services are mainly available only to the members of Hartville’s migratory farm community. Programs and medical services are available to all farmworkers and their family members. Prospective patients do not need to schedule an appointment to visit the clinic – please see the calendar page to see our open clinic hours.

Do I need to schedule an appointment to visit the medical clinic?

We rarely schedule appointments – patients are seen on a walk-in, first come first serve basis. See our open clinic hours here!

Do I need health insurance or other documentation?

No. All of our services are offered for no cost.

Do I need to speak English?

No. We always have an interpreter on site when the clinic is open.

What if I need care outside of the Migrant Center’s free clinic?

Sometimes our doctors will refer patients to an off-site medical provider. When this happens, we always help patients to schedule their appointments. If transportation is needed to attend the appointment we can coordinate that as well. Some off-site services can be financially covered by the center while others cannot be. Please ask the doctor on-site when the referral is written.
