Even though our center has been closed for the off-season, the staff at Hartville Migrant Ministry have been hard at work to prepare for our opening in May and the upcoming growing season! We’re looking forward to announcing our volunteer needs as our 2020 programming takes shape, but until then – we need your help!
Every year, the migrant farm workers arrive to Ohio to work the growing season with very few personal possessions. One of the ways our ministry can bless them is by providing a bag of basic necessities – hygiene items, pillows, sheets, etc., to help them feel at home until they receive their first paychecks. We provide Welcome Bags for over 300 migrant families and see time and time again the blessings of this generosity in our community.
As of today, we still need over 100 Welcome Bags donated, so we’re reaching out to our supporters to ask for your help.
