As most of you are aware, the response to The Great Pumpkin Run on Saturday 10/24/15 was so great that they sold out and are now doing the race on Sunday 10/25/15 as well. We desperately need volunteers for Sunday race from 7a-12n. If you haven’t signed up to help with either race, please consider signing up. Also ask friends, family or co-workers who you think may be interested. Here is the link to sign up to volunteer:

On Thursday, July 2nd, 2015 approximately 40 migrant children gathered at Zeller’s Athletic Fields to participate in the weekly sports night events. Led by Kristen Bushway, Dan Sloat, and Liz Behrend, the kids worked on skills during the early evening and then participated in a volleyball match. During their normal break time, they were offered healthy snacks and discussed weekly devotions. However, a special guest arrived to offer devotions. Bishop Abraham Allende of the Northeastern Ohio Lutheran Synod clearly enjoyed interacting with the children. Because he was equally fluent in English and Spanish, he was able to address both cultural and spiritual topics. Although sports night has been popular all summer, Bishop Allende’s visit made July 2nd extra special!
will be giving 20% of July and August sales
